In accordance with the EU&#8217;s Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025, the adoption of this tool has therefore become mandatory for all research institutions wishing to participate in projects funded by the various European Commission programmes.. <\/p>\n<p>In our legal system, the GEP was adopted by Legislative Decree 150\/2009 in order to meet the objectives of the United Nations 2030 Agenda so that all women and girls can emancipate themselves and find self-determination without encountering any discrimination.
