OBJECTIVES

Increase the transnational activity of innovative clusters to develop smart and sustainable growth in the Mediterranean.
Priority axis-Investment Priority-Specific Objective 1-1-1 Priority Axis 1: Promoting Mediterranean innovation capacities to develop smart and sustainable growth PI 1.b

PROJECT TYPE

Horizontal Project related to Blue Growth. To date, the assigned modular projects are: PELAGOS, Maestrale, Proteus, i@blue. Topics developed by the latter include: blue energy, renewable energies, and maritime surveillance.

DESCRIPTION

The main objective of InnoBlueGrowth is to ensure communication and capitalization activities for “modular” projects (study, monitoring, and exploitation of results) addressing Blue Growth issues, in order to increase their impact on well-identified common objectives.
InnoBlueGrowth focuses on increasing the transnational activity of innovative clusters and networks in key sectors of the Mediterranean area.

To meet the needs of modular projects, InnoBlueGrowth will, among other things, implement actions such as: communication strategy, community building initiatives, and capitalization events—thereby building a real community among modular projects dealing with Blue Growth.

This innovative community will enable the strengthening of the cross-cutting and integrated approach between modular projects and stakeholders. This approach is a sine qua non for supporting Mediterranean clusters in their transnational activity processes.

Furthermore, InnoBlueGrowth will increase the dissemination and transferability of modular project results and, consequently, ensure a broader and deeper impact at various levels for external stakeholders, contributing to the sustainable socio-economic development of the Mediterranean basin through innovative investments in the Blue economy.
