Whistleblowing
Whistleblowing is a procedure designed to encourage reporting and, precisely because of its social function, to protect both the company and the person making the report.
The term whistleblower refers to a person who reports violations that harm the public interest or the integrity of the Consortium to the authorities empowered to intervene, thereby facilitating the detection of illegal activities.
The purpose of whistleblowing is to prevent or resolve a current or potential problem internally and promptly: in this sense, it is an act of civic duty, through which the whistleblower contributes to the emergence and prevention of risks and situations that are detrimental to the Consortium and, consequently, to the collective public interest.
