CoNISMa 2020 - 2030
In recent years, the call for greater inclusion of women in the workplace and their commitment to taking on key roles has been seen as something that needs to be regulated.
The European Parliament therefore called for a concrete plan, which it set out in its resolution of 3 July 2003 with the introduction of the Gender Equality Plan. In accordance with the EU Gender Equality Strategy 2020–2025, the adoption of this instrument has therefore become mandatory for all research institutions wishing to participate in projects funded by the various European Commission programmes.
Under our legal system, the Gender Equality Plan (GEP) was adopted by Legislative Decree 150/2009 in order to meet the objectives of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, so that all women and girls may empower themselves and achieve self-determination without suffering any discrimination. CoNISMa has embraced the initiative to adopt a gender plan to demonstrate its commitment to combating all forms of gender discrimination against women and non-binary people, as well as all other forms of violence.
