The CoNISMa – National Inter-University Consortium for Marine Sciences is recruiting no. 1 fixed-term part-time employee to be involved in the preparation of European project proposals (e.g. Interreg Programmes, Horizon Europe, etc.), in the implementation of the proposals themselves and in reporting.
The employee’s duties will generally concern the following areas:
- Support to the consortium sector dedicated to ‘European Project Development’, with the aim of strengthening internal competences.
The employee will be required to carry out the following tasks:
- Support project scientific managers in implementing activities and using project resources (“management control”). For this reason, the candidate must be able to use Microsoft Excel completely independently;
- Prepare periodic reports on ongoing projects in order to obtain progress status and finalize payment requests relating to reported costs. In particular, it will be necessary to liaise with auditors for the certification of the expenses incurred by the Entity.
- Implement project proposals to be submitted in response to specific calls for proposals issued by the Managing Authorities of the various programmes in which CoNISMa usually participates (e.g. Interreg Euro Med, Interreg Greece-Italy, Interreg IPA ADRION, Interreg South Adriatic, Interreg NEXT MED, Interreg Italy-Croatia, Interreg Italy-Tunisia, etc.). Specifically, each funding programme uses its own web portals for project submission, therefore the candidate must be able to learn quickly in order to manage them independently.
- Handle correspondence with project partners concerning ongoing proposals.
- Liaise with the Head of European Project Development and with the administrative office.
The candidate must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in class L33 – Economics and Business or equivalent qualifications;
- Excellent spoken and written knowledge of English;
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office software package, particularly Excel.
- Good knowledge of the use and functioning of digital communication systems;

The CoNISMa – National Inter-University Consortium for Marine Sciences is recruiting no. 1 fixed-term part-time employeeto be involved in the administrative sector, specifically with reference to procurement procedures for goods and services.
The employee’s duties will generally concern the following areas:
Support for procurement procedures for goods and services in accordance with the Entity’s Regulations and the applicable legislation, including, by way of example, the Public Procurement Code (Legislative Decree 36/2023), the Directives issued by ANAC (National Anti-Corruption Authority), as well as the MEF directives concerning electronic invoicing for Public Administration and related obligations; more generally: the legal and legislative rules, as well as the national and EU provisions to which CoNISMa is subject in its specific fields of activity.
Within the above-mentioned areas and in close coordination with the Central Administration and the Management, the employee will be required to perform the following tasks:– Manage the digital platform used for the acquisition and certification of potential suppliers of goods and services for the Entity.
- Liaise with suppliers of goods and services for the preparation of each file relating to the Entity’s purchase orders.
- Within the field of procurement of goods and services, support the Central Administration and the Management regarding any preliminary requests and clarifications from applicants and economic operators participating in selection procedures.
The candidate, holding a diploma obtained no earlier than 01-01-2015, must meet the following mandatory requirements:

CoNISMa – National Inter-University Consortium for Marine Sciences
is recruiting no. 1 fixed-term employee as Project Coordinator of a multi-year National Research Programme concerning an “Environmental Monitoring Plan relating to the construction of an underwater outfall pipeline for treated wastewater from several municipalities in Puglia”.
The activity will concern the overall management of the project, with specific reference to institutional relations among the bodies involved in the research activities. In particular, the candidate will carry out the necessary legal research on regulatory aspects (national and regional) affecting the field activities, as well as certain administrative aspects of management control handled by the central administration of the Consortium.
Candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Degree in Law under the old university system or equivalent Master’s Degree.

CoNISMa – National Inter-University Consortium for Marine Sciences is recruiting no. 1 fixed-term employee classified as Level II Researcher (part-time) to be involved, as Coordinator, in the activities of the InnoBlueGrowth Project financed under the INTERREG MED Programme (http://interreg-med.eu/en/results-of-first-call-for-proposals-modular-horizontal/).
In particular, this is a “horizontal” project aimed at managing – in a cross-cutting manner – the communication and transnational capitalization of a group of thematic, so-called “modular” projects.
More specifically, InnoBlueGrowth focuses on the results of projects relating to “Blue Growth” in the Mediterranean and aims to establish a broad Community of relevant stakeholders in this field in order to increase the impact of the “modular” projects towards shared, identified objectives.

The candidate must hold an upper secondary school diploma.
The candidate must have proven experience of at least ten years in:
I. Graphic production on Apple Macintosh and Microsoft Windows platforms in desktop publishing; vector and photographic graphics.
II. Image processing; database creation and use; professional use of the Office package and the Acrobat Professional program.
III. Proven experience in proofreading scientific reports, both in terms of visual layout and text.
Any certifications and/or training/work attestations relating to the above points I), II) and III) will be considered preferential qualifications.

In general terms, the research concerns the study of the biology and ecophysiology of jellyfish.
The candidate must hold a Master’s Degree in Biology, Ecology, or Biodiversity with a marine focus (teaching sector LM6).

- Subject of the degree thesis;
- Certified research experience (i.e. scientific publications) on the biology and ecophysiology of jellyfish, the impact of jellyfish on fish mariculture, and the identification of gelatinous zooplankton;

Requirements: Documented experience in genetic analysis techniques applied to the taxonomy of marine organisms. Skills related to the taxonomy and phylogeny of the main groups of marine organisms.
