CoNISMa – the National Interuniversity Consortium for Marine Sciences – is seeking one part-time temporary employee to assist in the preparation of European project proposals (e.g., Interreg programs, Horizon Europe, etc.), the implementation of those proposals, and reporting.
The tasks assigned to the employee will generally cover the following areas:
- Support for the consortium’s division dedicated to “European Project Development,” with the aim of strengthening internal expertise.
The employee will be required to perform the following duties:
- Support for project scientific leads in implementing project activities and utilizing project resources (“management control”). For this reason, the candidate must be able to use Microsoft Excel completely independently;
- Periodic reports on ongoing projects to document progress and finalize payment requests related to reported costs. In particular, it will be necessary to liaise with auditors to certify the expenses incurred by the organization.
- Implementation of project proposals to be developed in response to specific calls for proposals issued by the Managing Authorities of the various programs in which CoNISMa typically participates (e.g., Interreg EuroMed, Interreg Greece-Italy, Interreg IPA ADRION, Interreg South Adriatic, Interreg NEXT MED, Interreg Italy-Croatia, Interreg Italy-Tunisia, etc.). Specifically, each funding program uses its own web portals for project submission; therefore, it is necessary to learn how to use them quickly in order to manage the process independently.
- Maintain correspondence with project partners regarding ongoing proposals.
- Liaise with the European Project Manager and the administrative department.
The candidate must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in the L33 Teaching Class – Economics and Business, or equivalent;
- Excellent spoken and written English;
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Good knowledge of the use and operation of digital systems in the field of communication;
The following will also be considered as preferred securities:

CoNISMa—the National Interuniversity Consortium for Marine Sciences—is seeking one part-time temporary employee to work in the administrative department, specifically on procedures for the procurement of goods and services.
The tasks assigned to the employee will generally cover the following areas:
Assistance with procedures for the procurement of goods and services in accordance with the Agency’s Regulations and in compliance with relevant legislation, such as—by way of example only—the Public Procurement Code (Legislative Decree 36/2023), the guidelines issued by ANAC (National Anti-Corruption Authority), as well as the MEF guidelines regarding electronic invoicing for public administration and related compliance requirements; in general: the legal and legislative provisions, as well as national and EU regulations, to which CoNISMa is subject within the scope of the Authority’s specific areas of activity.
Within the scope of the aforementioned topics and in close coordination with Central Administration and Management, the employee will be required to perform the following duties: – Manage the digital platform used to identify and certify potential suppliers of goods and services to the Agency.

CoNISMa – National Interuniversity Consortium for Marine Sciences
Select one fixed-term employee to serve as Project Coordinator for a multi-year national research program concerning an “Environmental Monitoring Plan related to the construction of an underwater pipeline for the discharge of treated wastewater from certain municipalities in Puglia.”
The scope of the position will involve the overall management of the project, with specific reference to institutional relations among the entities involved in the research activities. In particular, the candidate will be responsible for conducting the necessary legal research regarding regulatory aspects (both national and regional) affecting all field activities, as well as certain administrative aspects of management oversight under the Consortium’s central administration.
Candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Law under the old system or an equivalent Master’s Degree.
Preference will also be given to candidates with relevant prior work experience and/or training gained at public agencies, institutions, and/or organizations.
The candidate must have a strong aptitude for teamwork.
Work location: Bari, at the local ULR CoNISMa office (Department of Biology, “A. Moro” University of Bari).
The successful candidate will be offered a fixed-term contract, pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 19 of Legislative Decree 81/2015, effective January 10, 2022, for a period of 12 (twelve) months, expiring on January 10, 2023, subject to renewal.
The contract will be governed by the current National Collective Bargaining Agreement (C.C.N.L.) for staff of Research and Experimental Institutions and Organizations, under which the successful candidate will be classified as a Level III R Researcher, as provided for in the agreement, with a gross annual salary of 17,265.00 euros.

CoNISMa – the National Interuniversity Consortium for Marine Sciences – is seeking one fixed-term staff member to be hired as a Level II Researcher (part-time) to serve as Coordinator for the activities of the InnoBlueGrowth Project, funded under the INTERREG MED Program (http://interreg-med.eu/ en/results-of-first-call-for-proposals-modular-horizontal/).
Specifically, this is a “horizontal” project aimed at managing—in a cross-cutting manner—communication and transnational knowledge transfer for a group of thematic, so-called “modular” projects.
Specifically, InnoBlueGrowth focuses on the results of projects related to “Blue Growth” in the Mediterranean and aims to build a broad community of key stakeholders in this field in order to increase the impact of these “modular” projects toward identified common objectives.

The general focus of the research is the study of the biology and ecophysiology of jellyfish.
The candidate must hold a Master’s degree in Biology, Ecology, or Biodiversity with a marine focus (academic sector LM6).

- Graduation Grade;
- Topic of the Thesis;
