CoNISMa is a partner in the “Thematic Community” project, which is a key component of the Natural Heritage Mission. This mission is dedicated to addressing the urgent challenge of protecting, restoring, and enhancing natural resources.
The Natural Heritage Mission includes two governance projects: the “Thematic Community” and the “Institutional Dialogue.” These initiatives build on the foundations laid by the Interreg Med projects “Mediterranean Biodiversity Protection Community” and “Blue Growth.” The partners are collaborating closely to build on the knowledge and results generated by these previous initiatives, transferring these insights to other contexts and integrating them into effective policies.
The “Thematic Community” project will provide an opportunity to build on the lessons learned and put the valuable results achieved to good use. It will benefit from the coordination efforts of the “Institutional Dialogue” project.
